What’s that gibberish in the title of this post?
NaBloPoMo is short for National Blog Posting Month, which occurs every November. I’ve done this for the past several years on the bar blog, and I think I successfully completed it once. November is a hard month to blog every day because of Thanksgiving. The holiday usually means four days of eating, shopping and family time— and spending very little time on or near a computer, so unless I have posts written ahead of time (which isn’t happening very often these days), I probably won’t have 30 blog posts at the end of the month.
I don’t consider that a failure, though; inevitably I’ll still post more frequently than I would if I hadn’t publicly committed to the challenge.
It helps to have friends participating in this adventure with me. Are you doing NaBloPoMo? Let me know and I’ll be sure to
pester cheer you on throughout the month, and you can do the same for me. The NaBloPoMo site also has daily writing prompts to help you if you can’t think of anything to write about. Good luck to us all!
