Too Late For Birth Announcements?

Cooper’s already a month old, and his arrival seems like old news in the Facebook era. I don’t think I can really even call him a newborn anymore! However, our grandmas and some other relatives aren’t on Facebook, and even though they obviously know we had a baby— some of them have even met him already— I’m still sending birth announcements.

Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I LOVE getting snail mail. And I especially love cards and letters and pictures, and I save them all. So, I ordered these:

I didn’t order very many; I know most people open their mail, look at the picture and toss it in the trash. Not everyone’s a packrat like me. But some of our family and close friends will see these in their mailbox soon. And if they throw it in the trash, I don’t want to know about it!

:) I’m the same way with photos people send me and cards. I even have an album dedicated to other people’s families. :)
lol And so you know, the photo Christmas card from years ago is still hanging up.
Yeah, I’m a pack rat too.
